Each calendar year, the cancer committee develops and disseminates a report of patient or program outcomes to the public. An annual report is not synonymous with reporting of outcomes, and the public reporting must include outcomes related to applicable Chapter 4 standards.

The content of the report must include outcome information on one or more of the following standards:

  • Standard 4.1 Prevention Programs
  • Standard 4.2 Screening Programs
  • Standard 4.4 Accountability Measures
  • Standard 4.5 Quality Improvement Measures

COC STANDARD 4.4: ACCOUNTABILITY MEASURES

Each calendar year, the expected Estimated Performance Rates (EPR) is met for each accountability measure as defined by the Commission on Cancer. An action plan is determined and monitored by the cancer committee as appropriate.
