At this year’s annual Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) conference in Chicago, Illinois our research team, fellows and physicians all attended. At this particular conference, Dr. Sharona Ross presented two video presentations. Carrie Ryan, our Research Coordinator, presented two poster presentations, and Dr. Wood, one our current fellows, presented a poster presentation.
The team at Florida Hospital Tampa is dedicated to continued learning and research on all matters related to minimally invasive surgery, especially for those with digestive disorders and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Sharona Ross has earned numerous awards for her work, is esteemed amongst her colleagues and is highly involved in the medical community. She has attended a multitude of various conferences and presented at most of them. Dr. Wood is also no stranger to presenting, as he was also asked to present at The American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association’s annual conference for 2014. Carrie Ryan is a clinical research coordinator at Florida Hospital Tampa and is working towards becoming a doctor herself.
