The month of November is dedicated to Pancreatic Cancer Awareness. At Florida Hospital Tampa, we participated in the Purple Stride 5k in St. Petersburg, FL which took place on November 8, 2014. Created by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, this event contributes all donations to create and advance Pancreatic Cancer Research and support patients who are fighting the battle. All who were able to attend this year enjoyed themselves as we walked alongside our patients and their families.
Passionate about helping those suffering from pancreatic cancer, the medical team at Florida Hospital Tampa is continually seeking advancements in this field of care. Dr. Ross and Dr. Rosemurgy are leaders in the area of advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery for issues related to pancreatic cancer, as well as other digestive disorders.
For more information on how we at Florida Hospital Tampa may be able to provide surgical options for you if you are facing pancreatic cancer, please do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with our office at Call813-615-7030.
