Dr. Sharona Ross and Dr. Alexander Rosemurgy recently attended the American College of Surgeons 2015 Clinical Congress. The ACS Clinical Congress is an annual meeting among surgeons, residents, medical students, and surgical team members where attendees can gain hands-on education and training opportunities, discourse regarding the most up-to-date surgical news and topics, and access to peer networking.

The two experts of Florida Hospital Tampa were able to attend multiple committees for various medical societies and meetings, where they were able to both gain and provide insight into relevant surgical matters and technological advancements. Additionally, Dr. Ross presented a peer-reviewed video of a Robotic Transhiatal Esophagectomy that will be published in the American College of Surgeons online video archive.

Our surgeons take advantage of every opportunity to expand their knowledge and skillset in the surgical environment to ensure that we are providing our patients and our community with the most up-to-date medical care and technology. Additionally, we are proud to share our own advancements in technology and methodology to other experts in our field.
