Prior to attending the SSAT annual conference, our team attended the Pancreas Club Conference in Lombard, Illinois. At this years' conference we had a total of 10 presentations, varying from podium presentations, to videos and even posters as well. Dr. Rosemurgy gave the highlighted podium presentation, "What Are the Financial Implication of Centers for Regional Healthcare?" which was received very receptively by other attending physicians.
Dr. Rosemurgy is esteemed for his work in the field of minimally invasive surgery when it comes to pancreatic cancer. He is a Chairman for the organization, Diseases of Liver, Biliary Tract, and Pancreas and a past Committee Chairman for the Cine Program – Pancreatic Surgery in 1997. He has been awarded the Patients' Choice Award for 2009 and 2010, he was voted as one of the Best Doctors in America from 1997-2010 and was listed in Marquis Who's Who in America in 2011.
