The Digestive Health Clinical Research team and the Florida Hospital Tampa Digestive Health Institute held the first Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Fundraiser on Monday, November 7th, 2016 at Carmel Kitchen in Carrollwood. Our collective efforts attracted upwards of 60 attendees, including Florida Hospital executives, Digestive Health Institute team members, physicians, patients and community members.
We came together and raised almost $1500.00 dollars for pancreatic cancer research! A $20 donation to the event included food and beverage, a photo booth with hashtags for social media awareness, live solo guitarist Matt Bellina, a raffle, merchandise sale consisting of jewelry made by our Research team and shirts designed by our nurse staff and DHI team members.
