Earlier this year, Dr. SB Ross and Dr. Rosemurgy were guest presenters at the Southeastern Surgical Congress Annual Scientific Meeting. Each year, the Southeastern Surgical Congress holds an annual conference that covers new techniques and technology for specific surgical topics. Their meetings consist of keynote presentations, surgical research projects, informal discussion groups, specialty panels, and video of surgical operative procedures.

Dr. Ross gave a video interactive presentation in front of a national audience of surgeons. The presentation was a combined robotic/laparoscopic total gastrectomy with distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy. Dr. Rosemurgy presented an abstract titled “A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Reducing Surgical Site Infections” which is under review by a top surgical journal.

Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons

In March of this year, both Dr. Ross and Dr. Rosemurgy participated as notable presenters and panelists at that SAGES 2016 annual meeting.
