One of our nationally-recognized advanced HPB surgeons of the Digestive Health Institute, Dr. Sharona Ross lectured at the 2019 Intuitive CONNECT Robotics Forum held recently in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. At this robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) Forum, experts discussed how they take advantage of the da Vinci system across their practices by applying the latest techniques and technology. More than 650 robotic surgeons from across the nation attended to hear Dr. Ross share a measured and precise presentation on how the cutting-edge robotic surgery is applied for numerous complex GI cancers operations at AdventHealth Tampa. This technology have paved the way for the future of robotic surgery with enhanced precision, improved healing and minimal scarring.
