Behind Your Orlando Solar Bears

John Ruder, MD

Dr. John Ruder is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician specializing in all facets of sports-related injury prevention and treatment. Dr. Ruder treats sports injuries of the shoulder and knee and has a particular interest in hip preservation.

Jason Epstein, MD

Dr. Epstein is a board-certified physician specializing in sports medicine. His areas of expertise include physical fitness and the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, he is skilled in the management of sports-related concussions.

Brian DeAlmieda, ATC

Brian is the team's head athletic trainer. Before joining the Solar Bears, Brian served as a supervising athletic trainer at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort, and was also a care advocate on the team responsible for the 2020 NBA Season Restart Bubble.
