- AdventHealth Digestive Health Institute Tampa

Dr. Ross and Dr. Sanjeevi spoke with the community about the importance of their Digestive Health. It brought awareness to the fact that almost 70 million Americans suffer from digestive disorders every year. If not properly treated, many of these disorders can lead to serious conditions. We also had an insurance specialist from Florida Hospital, Tina Solomon. She educated patients about the benefits offered through their insurance and how to effectively use them. This was a wonderful opportunity which received a great response from those who attended.
Dr. Ross is the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Director of Surgical Endoscopy, and the Founder and Director of the Florida Hospital Tampa Women in Surgery Initiative. Dr. Ross was also one of the primary surgeons in the United States to begin Laparo-Endoscopic Single Site (LESS) surgery, a procedure that uses a small incision, usually within the belly button, to remove diseased or damaged tissues. She continually develops new instruments and techniques to advance the safety and application of this type of surgery.
If you are experiencing a digestive disorder or want to learn more about how LESS surgery can help your condition, contact Florida Hospital Tampa at Call813-615-7030 today to book an appointment.
